“Expresso” Anti-Itch Cream

Our anti-itch cream brings fast relief for eczema, psoriasis and itchy rashes eg: from gardening.

Expresso can be used as an anti-itch cream to soothe chronic conditions like eczema, as well as acute eruptions such as insect bites and nettle stings.

Contains borage oil which is high in GLA (Gamma Linolenic Acid). This is an essential fatty acid which helps in the production of PG1 (Prostaglandin 1), an important compound that is anti-itch, anti-inflammatory, helps regulate water loss and protects the skin from damage.

The little-known herb ‘cardiospermum’ (Balloon Vine) is an ornamental vine from Africa who’s main use is in the treatment of eczema. Lavender and nettle  help to calm the skin and reduce itching, and marigold helps with skin repair.

There are no harsh ingredients in this anti-itch cream but the plant extracts themselves can sometimes sting if skin is extremely sensitive. This will usually pass, but if it persists it is possible to mix it with 50% Crème Fresh, or ask us for a half-strength cream.

For more intensive treatment of psoriasis or dermatitis try our Avocalm Cream
